FOHAMA is now an integral part of the national and international energy production chain. We stand out as the largest exporter of transformers in Argentina, enabling us to meet the needs of all our customers around the world.

FOHAMA currently operates a 15,000-square-meter state-of-the-art production plant with an internationally certified management system. Each year, we manufacture 2,000 transformers at this facility.

The plant is divided into three distinct production areas: 

• Repairs: 2,000 m2 exclusively dedicated to comprehensive repairs to new condition in accordance with manufacturer specifications and with a 24-month warranty
• Fabrication: 4600 m2 production plant where the tanks containing the active part of our transformers are manufactured. Flat sheet metal is received and cutting and drilling work is carried out on a LASER cutting table, followed by folding, welding, surface treatment, and painting.
• Main plant: 8,400 m2 where winding, assembly, drying in a high-vacuum oven (AUTOCLAVE), finishing, and dispatch are carried out, with 1,000 m2 of offices dedicated to administration, engineering, and staff services. It is worth noting that this plant also houses two high-voltage laboratories for control, research, and development, where all routine and type tests are carried out, as we have our own voltage impulse generator, among other equipment.
